Michael Hill Photography is a trade name (d/b/a) of StanHattie LLC, 731 SE Alices Rd PMB 1035, Waukee, IA 50263. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “Michael Hill Photography” refer to StanHattie LLC.
1. Services
Photography ("we," "us") provides professional photography services and print sales through this website. By using our website or purchasing services, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings and Payment
Session fees are due at the time of booking. Payment is processed through Stripe. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may forfeit the session deposit.
3. Copyright and Usage
All photographs are copyrighted by the photographer. Clients receive a personal use license for delivered images. Commercial usage requires a separate licensing agreement.
4. Print Shop
Print orders are fulfilled by third-party print labs. Shipping times and costs vary by product. Returns are accepted for damaged or defective items within 14 days.
5. Limitation of Liability
Photography / the company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable service.
6. SMS / Text Message Program
Michael Hill Photography offers three separate, optional categories of SMS text messages (together, the “SMS Program”): (1) booking and service messages; (2) recurring gallery and show invitations and photography updates, which may be promotional; and (3) post-service feedback and Google review requests. You choose each category independently on our public Text Message Preferences page. Every consent box is unchecked by default, and SMS consent is not a condition of booking, service, or purchase.
Booking customers may also opt into booking and service messages by checking the separate, unchecked box where they provide their phone number at mhillphoto.com/book. If you text (515) 789-3621 first, we may reply about that inquiry, but that conversation does not enroll you in gallery/update or review-request messages.
- Booking and service message frequency varies, typically 1 to 4 messages per booking or inquiry.
- Gallery, show, and photography update frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.
- Post-service feedback and review-request frequency varies, typically 1 to 2 messages per completed service.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all SMS Program categories. Twilio may send one final message confirming the opt-out. We do not send an additional custom confirmation.
- Reply START to clear Twilio’s carrier-level STOP block. START does not by itself grant or restore permission for any category. Checking and submitting a box on the website records renewed consent for that topic, and a prior carrier-level STOP remains blocked until you also text START.
